For Derek: What are your thoughts about karma? How does it affect your behavior?
Karma is an ideology. I do not believe in it. I do what I want to do at the end of the day. If it benefits me, then I’m more driven to do that. I won’t bother with anything that has no benefit to me.
For Derek: If you believed that your soul would return in another body at another time, is there anything that you’d do differently?
I wouldn’t marry. Samantha has brought nothing but pain at this point in my life. I wouldn’t want to go through that again. You can love someone and not be with them. I learned that now.
For Evan: How does it feel to know who you were in a past life?
It’s painful. Sometimes I feel like I’m back during the time when Derek was alive. I feel disgusted and it takes a while for the feeling to go away. I wish I was someone who missed opportunities and that’s why I was given another shot at life, to take those opportunities. I just know that I wouldn’t treat my wife the way I did in my previous life.
